It features a robust sapphire tip cooling system that ensures treatments are virtually painless. What is it like to receive Diolaze XL treatments? IT IS RECOMMENDED TO SHAVE BEFORE YOU COME IN FOR YOUR TREATMENT TO AVOID DELAYS. Diolaze XL laser hair removal is well tolerated, often without the need for numbing cream. A cooling gel is applied to the skin being treated, and the appropriate laser settings are adjusted based on your skin type. Laser safety goggles must be worn at all times during the procedure. The laser is gently passed over the cooling gel, targeting the hair follicle pigment. Diolaze XL's sapphire cooling tip cools your skin, so you don't feel the heat from the laser energy. You may experience a sensation similar to a rubber band snapping. There is no downtime after the procedure. AVOID sun tanning and skin care products such as retinols, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid for 24 hours, preferably 48 hours. Follow our pre and post Diolaze XL laser hair removal instructions. How many sessions are needed? The typical number of sessions is 6-8, with each session lasting 20-30 minutes, depending on your hair texture and growth. More sessions may be necessary based on hair growth influenced by hormones and genetic factors. Results of treatments can vary. Is Diolaze XL safe for all skin types? Diolaze XL laser can be used on skin types up to VI, which is the darkest skin type. However, as with any laser or light energy, the use of heat can potentially cause hyperpigmentation. For darker skin types, it is advisable to reduce the heat energy, and more treatments may be necessary.
